The interface of the future is already here through platforms like Alexa, Siri and Cortana are you ready? We will be discussing how to design a Voice UI for your apps, bringing our Internet of Things from media devices, web services and customer service providers to a more human scale the scale of natural language.
First, we will dive into the UX side of designing a Voice User interface, answering when and when not to currently use this in your apps, and software development. See what’s possibly coming up the pipeline from companies like Adobe, Apple, and others in this area of the tech industry. Then we will look under the hood at how to build a simple app with Angular and Voice UI with Alexa Skills.
UX/UI Consultant currently at Tyrannosaurus Tech a local rad ATL tech agency. Earlier in his career as a Product/Service Designer he and his team created one of the first successful hybrid retail-brick-and-mortar/internet stores during the housing recession. He’s worked alongside with Shawn Johnson over at Mobile App Hero as the UX Lead. And still dabbles in coding and Front-End Dev after taking a Web Dev Immersive class by accident where he started and still helps to organize the ATL Angular Meetup.
